Marley Farms

Over fall break, Dallas and Candace had Mayden and we wanted to take her somewhere fun. We thought about taking her to my dad's work Rodeo, the Phoenix Zoo, but we ultimately decided to go to Marley's Petting Zoo/Farm. It was actually a lot of fun, even for us adults. And of course it was fun to get to see Mayden's reactions and running from animal to animal, although she just wanted to look at them. I wish I would have known that BEFORE I bought three bags of food haha.

Somebody had to use up the three bags of food...

She loved this little goat...he only had three legs.

This is Gilbert. You may not be able to tell from the pictures, but this big guy is so tall and weighs 800 pounds!!!

Pumpkin Carving

Eternity spent the night a week or so before Halloween, and I thought it would be fun to carve pumpkins. Eternity was so excited to carve them, and kept asking me if it was time to start yet. Notice in the pictures though how grossed out she is, haha. She didn't realize there was so much gooey stuff inside. She did well though and carved it and cleaned it all by herself!

Not the best picture of us, but I loved Eternity's face

Here is the final products, Eternity's is on the left, and ours is on the right. Ours was a mummy peeking out of the blinds and Eternity choose a scary jack o' lantern face. I am glad to be able to start this fun tradition with Raylon!

Road Trip To California

So the weekend after our wedding, my dad had to go to California for work. Luckily Raylon was able to get school off, so us and my sister joined my parents for the weekend. We are so grateful that we got the opportunity to go and enjoy the cooler weather and some fun family bonding time. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Ok so anybody who knows me....knows I LOVE Target. So when I spotted the Target in Torrance I made sure that it was part of our trip! This Target was two stories!! They even had an escalator that you put your carts on after you check out. Yes....I made sure we bought something just so that we could put the cart down the escalator!

These pictures were at Venice Beach

We were also able to do a session at the Los Angeles Temple, and  I never knew this, but it is the biggest of all the temples. Whitni has the pictures from those, I will have to upload them later. We had so much fun though and can't wait to take another trip back to the beach...when the water is warmer!
